The 17th International Scientific Conference “Innovations in Pressure Die Casting” took place in Gdańsk on May 19–21, 2025. The event was attended by representatives of industry, academia, and companies providing modern technologies for the industry.
The conference program included thematic sessions on topics such as the development of HPDC technology, innovative material solutions, simulation of casting processes, reduction of porosity in castings, optimization of production processes, and energy efficiency. Modern technologies such as gigacasting, thixomoulding, rheocasting, and the use of magnesium and aluminum alloys in the production of ultralight components were the focus. Innovative solutions for predicting the mechanical properties of alloys using AI models, modern methods for simulation of casting processes, and optimization of pressure die machining were presented.
Discussions and exchange of experiences between participants were also an important element of the event.
A technical visit to Alteams Poland Sp. z o.o. was an integral part of the event. in Lębork, during which participants had the opportunity to learn about modern solutions used in die casting production, the organization of the technological process, and the practical application of the technologies discussed during the conference.
The conference provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and confirmed the importance of cooperation between industry and academia in the further development of modern and sustainable foundry engineering.
